How live-in care works

We’re glad you’ve taken the jump to decide live-in care is your preferred choice. You and the loved one might have various questions, especially how quickly we can start the process, or choosing a suitable start time. Nightingales will aim to accommodate you and your loved one ensuring support and guidance throughout the 5 stage process.

Nightingale Live-In Care has provided a step by step guide below to offer reassurance in the process.

Stage 1 – Book a free consultation

The Care Assessments are completely free of charge whether you decide to take up live-in care or not. You will be speaking with an experienced member of the team who can discuss your options and help you determine if live-in care is suitable for you.

Stage 2 – Application and Care Assessment

Following on from your telephone consultation, we will get you to complete an Application Form and Care Assessment online or via post. This will cover every aspect of your loved one’s requirements including Medication, Health Needs, Food, Drink & Preferred Interests. From this, we can create a Care & Support Plan for your loved one.
