We honestly do not know where the time has gone…. this month marks our 25th anniversary of providing care to the elderly in their own homes. Since 1994, we have supported over 1,500 elderly clients providing different services according to each individual’s needs.
Donna Roche, head of home care, said ‘Having support at home is often a life-line and crucial to helping people stay safe and able to continue to lead rich, rewarding lives. Independence is incredibly important and this doesn’t diminish with age. We are passionate about providing quality care and, no matter how simple the support, we know it really does take the worry away for so many of our clients. Whether it is personal care, doing some shopping or accompanying someone on their holiday, we understand that everyone’s needs are unique.”
Sarah Bruce, who founded the home care service with husband and business partner Nick Bruce, added, “I believe it’s been our commitment to quality that has contributed to our continuing success, enabling us to expand over the years from Bromley to Croydon and Reigate. At the beginning, it seemed natural to use our experience in providing residential care at our private homes in Bromley and Reigate, a decision we have never regretted. We feel extremely proud and privileged to support our elderly clients and we are constantly inspired by their achievements, the rich lives they have led and recall in our conversations with them. It’s our aim to continue to provide the comfort and care they deserve for as long as we are able.”
The team intends to mark the occasion with various celebrations including some throw-back activities revisiting the 90s, expect some fun photos on the Home Care Facebook page!
