Who are our live-in carers?
You can rest assured that if you work with us, you will be assigned a qualified carer. They receive in-house expert introduction training as well as ongoing refresher training to keep their skills up to date with industry best practices. We conduct background checks and in-person evaluations and ask the simplest and most effective question: “Would I trust this person to look after my mother?”
They have been thoroughly vetted, interviewed, and the Disclosure and Barring Service has provided them with an enhanced check (DBS). They will always arrive on time, greet you with a friendly smile, and be courteous and helpful. We only hire people who we would want to take care of our own family.

Live-in care funding options
With proper planning, live-in care in Hampshire is more affordable than many people think.
PHBs (Personal Health Budgets) in the NHS
People with long-term health problems are eligible for NHS Continuing Healthcare.
It pays for all of your medical expenses. As a result, you should double-check your eligibility.
Direct Payments from the Council
Many people pay for their health care through local government funding. Your requirements and financial situation determine your eligibility. You can regain control of your finances with Direct Payments.
Savings and assets
If they are not eligible for government assistance, most families use their savings. You could also use the equity in your home to help pay for your care.
For more information on funding, contact Nightingales Live-In Care on 0800 612 9132. Whether you choose us or not, you are welcome to benefit from our experience - and we believe you will find us refreshingly easy to work with.
