#12 – Monday, 8th June 2020

We remain at Implementation Level Two for both Homes with no Symptomatic Residents or Staff.

Our Covid-Positive HomeCare Client, who remained Asymptomatic, has now transferred to St Christopher’s Hospice in accordance with her palliative care needs, and was not connected to her Covid-19 diagnosis. Her Carers, who we continue to owe a huge debt of thanks to, are being retested before resuming other duties. All other HomeCare Clients and Staff are well. Read More >

#10 – Tuesday, 26th May 2020

We remain at Implementation Level Two for both Homes with no Symptomatic Residents or Staff. We still just have one Client who tested Covid-19 Positive but who remains Asymptomatic , and is being retestested this Thursday. The two Carers looking after her continue to just look after this one Client, and both remain Asymptomatic themselves. Interestingly, since the last Newsletter, we have learnt that recovering Covid-19 Patients who continue to Test Positive are thought to be Non-Infectious, suggesting the source of our Client’s infection was not our Symptomatic Carer , who herself remains well. #8 – Monday, 11th May 2020

We remain at Implementation Level Two, with no Residents, Clients or Staff being Symptomatic. However, one HomeCare Staff Member has tested Positive (see Testing section for more details).

Morale has continued to be good, although some Residents felt a bit blue when the sun decided to desert us. However, our Staff are encouraging them to be in greater contact with their families, and we are thinking up new ways to keep them entertained. Read More >

Out of interet, this Newsletter (the same version goes to everyone) is emailed to approximately 100 Family Members, 100 Managers and Staff, and 134 people who expressed an interest in Volunteering. Paige then forwards it to any HomeCare Clients who wish to see it, with the same happening in the Homes.
