Carers
Our care staff are responsible for carrying out all the tasks required by our clients’ Care Plans and the role can therefore be very flexible. Tasks may include helping people up or to bed, carrying out various treatments, keeping them company, helping them with medication, mobilising, bathing, eating etc.

Experience is not necessary as full training will be given. The only thing we insist on is a caring nature. There are three different types of carer we employ:

Home Carer
Work in our clients' own homes on an established daily round close to where you live. Hours can be flexible, but require a high level of commitment. Alternatively, you may be interested in longer companionship visits which may be up to 8 hours.

Day & Night Carer
Work in one of our retirement homes on a regular shift pattern. Shifts run from 8am to 2pm, 2pm to 8pm and 8pm to 8am.

Night Sleepers
Spend the night at our clients' own home to provide peace-of-mind and care as required.

Support Staff
We have a number of support roles focused on improving our residents quality of life. Again, experience is not essential as full training will be given.

Activities Co-ordinator
This role can be great fun and involves helping our residents to do whatever activities and entertainment they wish. This involves working with volunteers, arranging outings, running quizzes and a myriad other things. If you enjoy varied work and a high level of interaction with other people, this would be an excellent role for you.

Cook
Our residents really look forward to their meals and, whilst we will not expect you to prepare meals as though you were in a restaurant, the vast majority of the food we produce is home made, and you must therefore be capable of a high standard of cooking from raw ingredients.  Presentation is also important, as of course is hygiene.

Housekeeper
Our housekeepers are responsible for ensuring that our residents always have a clean and tidy environment in which to live, from ensuring that all the public and bedrooms are regularly cleaned and tidied, through to ensuring that the laundry is done to the highest standards. This is a key role in ensuring the homes always look their best.

Maintenance Person
Our maintenance person is responsible for ensuring that the house and gardens are always well maintained. They are not expected to be a skilled tradesman (we bring in specific experts when necessary) but they should have good DIY and gardening skills.
