Our philosophy for care

We find many people delay the decision to come in to a home for fear of losing their independence. Often, the opposite is true and the only thing that they lose is a life that recently had been rather too lonely. The support they receive soon ensures they are better able to enjoy life to the full, and the discovery of new friends usually banishes any doubts they once had.

Delivering a service that people value takes motivated and dedicated staff, and we are delighted that a number of ours have been with us for nearly two decades or more. As you would expect, each of them receives the highest standards of training, but theirs and our commitment goes beyond simply ticking boxes.

We are passionately anti-institutional. Sometimes notices are unavoidable, but when they are we have a simple rule; they must be in a picture frame to ensure they blend in. Furniture is chosen for comfort rather than utility, and except where you would choose something more practical in your own home, quality carpets always take precedence over easier to clean surfaces. We even go as far as making sure the Call-Bell is silent so that our residents are not disturbed.

We have been providing care to the elderly since 1986, initially in Bromley, and then from 1989 in Reigate too. Our HomeCare service, for anyone in need of support in their own home, followed in 1994. Throughout this time, we have consistently taken pride in offering the best service possible with the interests of our clients always taking precedence over all other considerations.

Quality has always mattered to us and always will. We have been registered to the Quality Assurance standard ISO9001 since 1994 (something unique in the care industry at the time) and, to ensure we continue to be a responsible company in a changing world, we are currently working towards the Environmental Management standard ISO14001 and Investors in People. Because our clients prefer a smaller, higher-quality service does not mean they have to give up on professionalism.

What all this means is that you will find us to be a genuine 'home' or the best support you could hope to have in your own home. We work hard to ensure there is a real depth of quality to our service that goes beyond mere marketing clichés, and whilst this website has been professionally created, we hope you will find this same level of professionalism reflects throughout everything we do.
